Two hours - You'll be led through two design exercises, one bouquet, and one centerpiece. Your bouquet will be a loose, airy cascade style, utilizing the season's best flowers to practice our core techniques.

DESIGN GUIDE

Dawn will help bring clarity and understanding to design principles to strengthen your skills with professional feedback.

PROFESSIONAL Photos + Tablescape

Walk away with professional pictures of your bouquet with our bride. A tablescape design with luxurious details —professionally photographed for your website and to share on social media.

SUSTENANCE

One Hour—Light Lunch, Snacks, and Beverages to keep you fresh and energetic! Q&A during this intimate social time.

FLORISTS: You will begin with two floral demonstrations. Dawn of the Nature of Things will show you how to design her signature bridal bouquet. She’ll also review techniques for creating a bespoke centerpiece and guide you through your creation. This is a unique learning opportunity that will inspire your future floral designs. We provide all the flowers, a vase, and all the supplies needed. You should expect to walk away with a stunning arrangement (designed by you!), new knowledge about florals while practicing mindfulness and self-love, hone your creativity, and build something beautiful that will remind you to live life to the fullest bloom.

ADDITIONALLY, you will receive professional photos of your beautiful bouquet with our model/bride.

PHOTOGRAPHERS: If you are a beginner in the wedding photography field or an established photographer looking to refresh your portfolio with new and unique imagery, this photoshoot is perfect for you. We understand that it can be overwhelming and intimidating. Still, we created this intimate experience that is free of judgment and solely intended for you to unleash your creativity. We focus on creating the intricate details of each moment while you bring your unique vision to the table. In today's wedding industry, building a community and connecting with fellow photographers is crucial. Be intentional and take your time. Make new friends and have some fun!

2:00 - 3:00 pm - Light Bites and Refreshments - Socialize, network, and meet new creatives. Dawn & I will both be available for Q&As
3:00 - 5:00 pm - Floral Workshop
5:00 - 7:00 pm - Photography Content and Guidance Workshop

IMPORTANT info:

PHOTOGRAPHERS: Arriving at 2 p.m. allows you to mingle, network with light bites, and engage in a Q&A session with Mariela Campbell Photography. You can also capture some behind-the-scenes footage of the florals being created or capture each other’s portraits. You may also arrive at 5 - 7 p.m. for content creation and workshop guidance. The price remains the same regardless of the time you choose to come. We welcome all levels of photographers, but you must know how to operate your camera; this is not a learning-your-camera workshop.

Our model will showcase a gorgeous bouquet in the lush garden. Moreover, you'll have a luxury low table and a chair styled and adorned with florals for stand-alone images and with the model in them. The one-on-one time with our model and guidance from Mariela Campbell Photography will be invaluable. There will be a maximum of FIVE photographers, ensuring plenty of one-on-one time with the model and time for my guidance and assistance ( if needed).

FLORIST—Arrive at 2 p.m. to mingle, network with light bites, and engage in a Q&A session with Dawn of The Nature of Things. You will then embark on a hands-on floral journey, learning, designing, and connecting confidently. Our master florist, Dawn, at The Nature of Things, provides all florals and vessels with the necessary accessories. Create your centerpiece and bouquet.
